Visit of the Grandparents

Karina's grandmother from mothers-side was present on the day she was born, but now it was time for the grandparents from Aart's side. In the end of january 2004, they arrived from The Netherlands. Aart's sister Charlotte and her family joined them. Her two-and-a-half year old son (grandchild #1) was completely under the spell of his newborn cousin. He even gave her a very tender smooch!

The visitors from the Netherlands brought a lot of presents. Books and CD's with childrens stories and songs in Dutch, and a big stuffed animal that a friend of my parents had knitted especially for Karina!

There was lots of time for everybody to hold Karina.
