Below you can see how much fun Karina has watching her father build with
LEGO Mindstorms NXT.
This robotic toolset allows hobbyists to construct and program robots
that interact with their environment through three servo motors and
various sensors, all controlled by the 32-bit NXT brick.
The first project consists of building and programming the TriBot. Karina quickly learns that this robot can move when she makes a sound, although she is a little scared once the robot is crawling on the floor! On the large table, Karina starts the program that lets the robot crawl to the ball, then grab it and spin around to throw it away again. She is laughing out loud each time that happens.
The second project consist of building AlphaRex, a robot that can
actually walk on two legs. You can see that Karina is initially
really fond of this robot, but somehow AlphaRex ends up broken
on the ground in the end. Was it something he said?
The third project consist of building a robot arm.
Is it really supposed to lift Karina's toys?
